How a Jack pilot works
The intended structure of a focused Jack pilot, from selecting one knowledge problem to reviewing the outcome.
Choose one bounded problem
A pilot starts with one crew and one meaningful knowledge problem. The goal is to evaluate a real workflow without claiming organization-wide results before evidence exists.
Capture and review
Torch works with the participating team to identify relevant sources, capture practical knowledge, preserve provenance, and define who is authorized to review it.
Evaluate the intended use
The pilot checks whether Jack can make the reviewed knowledge easier to retrieve and whether the workflow fits the team. Measures are agreed for that pilot; Torch does not publish outcomes without evidence and permission.
